I have experience playing and programming synths (everything from early s+s to FM to analog to romplers to VA's) and drum machines. I prefer to tweak synths as opposed to using stock sounds unless they suit a certain purpose. Most of the material I listen to falls into the postmodern, new wave, indie, space, and synthpop genres if you want to categorize things.
